A Taazhpuur Grammar and Lexicon
Du Diogenes, Snot, Mazy, E.R.B., Zuhl, Aurora, Wright, Tracy, Tolkien, Kerrin, Darlene, Ishi, jah Nyla, qenai meinai thizai liuboston.
This is all soon to be redeveloped).
This is the only authoritative grammar and lexicon of the Taazhpuur language.
I originally developed the Taazhpuur language for a planned micronation set in the Gulf off the west coast of Florida. I eventually envisioned an ambitious novel in which characters would speak Taazhpuur. The novel would have been set in a Pleistocene world something like Burroughs’ Pellucidar, except relocated to my home, the Gulf Coast of Florida. It would have brimmed with prehistoric creatures, exotic peoples, and larger than life heroes and heroines. The novel would have been very earthy, and the characters scantily clad.
I’d wished to articulate my philosophy through both the novel and the Taazhpuur language. This included my love of Florida, mythology, and anthropological ideals. These ideals involved cultural relativism, feminist equality, non-violence, naturism, sex positive diversity, and world-wide environmental and economic stability. My book would have been a kind of Republic , but with jungle-women, and monsters.
Welcome to the world of the Taazhpuur.
